Our first day

Here is our ride for the first day ...

Arrived at hotel in Tarifa, Spain

We are "home" for the night.

Everyone arrived safely.

Ride was quite hot at times (it reached 34.5C/94F) and we had nasty gusts of wind.

By the amount of wind turbines we saw there must be quite a lot of wind based electricity priduced here.

Bikes are all nicely parked under cover and ready to go to ferry tomorrow.

Other travelers

Irish couple we met on the way to Tarifa, Spain.

They were going to Malaga, Spain where she would fly home and he was going to join some friends and do two weeks of Morocco.

We may still meet there ;-)
